Piacentini & Son is an earthmoving and mining contractor specialising in bulk earthworks, supply of mobile mining and earthmoving equipment, road haulage and heavy transportation, and rehabilitation services.

We are currently seeking qualified Heavy-Duty Mechanics to join our Jacinth Ambrosia site in South Australia. 

• Fulltime Permanent employment 
• Family friendly roster - 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off 
• Choice of 2/1 roster if preferred 
• Day shift / Night shift 
• Work for a reputable, long standing family owned company

To succeed in this role with Piacentini, you will need: 

• Demonstrated experience in more than one of the following - CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu & John Deere equipment.
• Trade experience in a mining or civil engineering environment on large scale equipment.
• Australian recognised Trade Qualification.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard.
• A proven commitment to and compliance with site safety standards.
• Pride in your quality of work.
