Production Dozer / All Round Operators

Piacentini & Son is an earthmoving and mining contractor specializing in bulk earthworks, supply of mobile mining and earthmoving equipment, road haulage and heavy transportation, and rehabilitation services. 

We have been awarded a 9-year contract with Kimberley Mineral Sands Thunderbird Operations, a greenfield Mineral Sands mine 140km from Broome. 

We are currently seeking a number of experienced Production Dozer operators to join this exciting new project. These are permanent full-time roles.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate at least one of the following:
- CAT D10 & D11 Dozers
- CAT 980 Loader
- CAT 336 & 390 Excavator

• Maintaining quality of work performed
• Maintaining a high degree of safety in line with our policies and procedures 
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard 
• Reliable & take pride in your quality of work

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in more than one of the following - CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu & John Deere equipment
• Relevant experience in a mining or civil environment on large scale equipment
• Australian recognized relevant Operator Tickets
• Current drivers’ license
• Good written & communication skills
• Be a team player, open & honest 
• Hold a flexible approach to business commitments
