HD Mechanic
Piacentini & Son is an earthmoving and mining contractor specializing in bulk earthworks, supply of mobile mining and earthmoving equipment, road haulage and heavy transportation, and rehabilitation services.
Piacentini & Son are currently seeking experienced HD Mechanic for their South West Operations based in Picton, WA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing, repairs, diagnosing faults on a variety of different earthmoving & haulage machinery, mainly excavators, dozers and loaders
- Coaching, mentoring & training apprentices & trade assistance – share your knowledge
- Maintaining quality of work performed
- Maintaining a high degree of safety in line with our policies and procedures
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard
- Reliable & take pride in your quality of work
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in more than one of the following - CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu & John Deere equipment.
- Trade experience in a mining or civil engineering environment on large scale equipment.
- Australian recognized Trade Qualification.
- Current Drivers Licence.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard.
- A proven commitment to and compliance with site safety standards.
- Pride in your quality of work
