About the Opportunity We are seeking an Experienced Machinist for a Permanent Full-Time opportunity, based at our Bunbury Workshop. This is an exciting role that will offer diverse exposure to a wide range of heavy machinery components in a large state-of-the-art workshop.
About You
- 3+ Years Experience in a Similar Role
- Australian Recognised Heavy Machinist Trade Certificate
- Demonstrated CRN Machine Experience
- Current High Risk Work Licence (Highly Regarded)
- Demonstrated experience in machining and maintaining components for machinery such as CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu
- Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety, and well-being of all employees
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug/Alcohol Screen
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain precision machining equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Fabricate and repair components to exact specifications using technical drawings and measurements
- Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of machined parts
- Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
- Maintain detailed records of machining processes, repairs, and tests performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a strong approach to safety
