About the Opportunity 

Piacentini & Son were recently awarded a 9-year contract for Kimberley Mineral Sands Thunderbird Operations, a greenfield Mineral Sands mine 140km by road between Broome and Derby.

We are seeking an Experienced All Round Mobile Plant Operator for a Permanent Full-Time opportunity, based at our KMS Broome site. This role will entail production focused mobile plant operations. Working closely with other members of our site Production team, this role will report to the Production Supervisors.

About You  

• 3+ Years experience in a similar role
• Experience operating all of the following:
• 336 CAT Excavator
• D10 – D11 CAT Dozer
• 988 CAT Loader
• Relevant Machine Operator Tickets and/or VOCs
• Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of all employees
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
• Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen

Responsibilities 

• Operating Mobile Plant Equipment in an efficient manner, maximising productivity, without compromising on safety
• Complete required prestart checks on machinery
• Maintaining a high quality of work
• Work well within a team environment
