About the Opportunity 

We are seeking an Experienced Excavator Operator, on a Max Term Contract, based at our Kimberley Rehabilitation project. Based in the picturesque Kimberley region, this role provides the opportunity to be part of the closure at one of Australia’s most historic and culturally significant projects. This role entails a 2:1 Days only roster.

About You  

• 3+ Years’ Experience in a similar role (Rehab / Civils Environments)
• Relevant Machine Operator Tickets
• Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of all employees
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
• Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (NPC)

Responsibilities 

• Operating CAT 6015, 390 & 336 Excavators in an efficient manner, maximising productivity, without compromising on safety
• Demonstrated experience with GPS Systems (Trimble & Topcon)
• Complete required prestart checks on machinery
• Maintaining a high quality of work
• Work well within a team environment
