About the Opportunity 

We are seeking an experienced Documentation & Quality Advisor, on a Permanent Full-time basis, based at our premises in Picton, Western Australia. Reporting to our Quality manager, this is an exciting new role that will be responsible for maintaining quality management documentation, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and actively participating in quality control processes.

About You  

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role (Document Control or Quality Compliance roles)
  • ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Certification (Highly Desirable)
  • Proven technical writing abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite and associated computer programs
  • Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of all employees
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
  • Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update quality management documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion of actions and assisting in closing out findings
  • Design and write procedures, forms, and technical documents in collaboration with subject matter experts
  • Assist the engineering project manager with reviewing drawings, developing and updating safe work instructions, and maintaining quality process documentation
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure fabrication processes adhere to approved quality standards
  • Maintain quality records, reports, and logs for full traceability
  • Assist in investigating non-conformance reports (NCRs) and implementing corrective actions
  • Conduct quality control inspections against project specifications and standards, reporting findings and initiating corrective actions
  • Participate in root cause analysis, compiling traceability data within MyOSH
  • Report monthly quality Lean metrics to the quality manager for review
  • Monitor processes to ensure all test and handover documentation remains traceable and up to date
