651 Elevating Scrapers

Piacentini & Son custom build the biggest elevating scrapers in the world and now have 7 in their fleet. These machines are self-loading, single power scrapers with a 50 ton pay load. They were designed inhouse and have been developed over many years to become state of the art scrapers with features that even major manufacturers have been unable to answer.

Slime Trucks

Piacentini & Son designs, develops, constructs and operates specialised slime trucks that place wet, fine, clay material (slime) over areas in order to reduce the impact of dust on the environment. The trucks are all-wheel drive and can cart 30 ton of slime per load. The slime is spread over areas through spray bars and batters via a monitored cannon spray. When the slime dries, a crust is formed that reduces the effects of wind and dust.

Service Trucks

Piacentini & Son designs and constructs service trucks to assist with their existing mobile fleet. The range of service trucks include 4x4, 6x4, 8x8 and Cat 773 trucks. All service trucks are fitted with fuel monitoring equipment that allows remote access to dispensing equipment to monitor fuel usage on each site.

Water Trucks

Piacentini & Son designs and constructs water carts for a range of different operations. The water carts range in size from 18,000 litres to 75,000 litres. Water cart varieties range from scrapers to all terrain dump trucks to rigid dump trucks.

Site Low Loaders

Piacentini & Son designs and constructs site low loaders for moving equipment up to 120 tons.

Machine Repowering

Piacentini & Son operate a continuous improvement program that has been in place for over 25 years, constantly monitoring and improving the performance of their machinery fleet. Mobile equipment is regularly repowered with late model engines to lower fuel consumption and emissions.
