| Piacentini
& Son Pty Ltd have mining operations around Australia. We
currently operate in the South-West and Mid-West of Western
Australia, Karratha in the Pilbara region and Stradbroke Island,
off the coast of Queensland.
South-West
The Piacentini & Son Pty Ltd main office is located at
Picton, approximately 175km from Perth in Western Australia.
There are six mine sites and two rehabilitation sites that
Piacentini & Son Pty Ltd operate in the South-West; there
are approximately 230 employees that work these sites.
Eneabba
Piacentini & Son Pty Ltd have been at the Eneabba mine
site, located 280km North of Perth and near the coastal town
of Leeman, since June 2001.
Currently the mine operates around the clock and there are
approximately 135 people on shift roster at the site, with
approx 80 employees on site at one time.
Stradbroke Island
Stradbroke Island is located approximately 15km off the coast
of Queensland. Piacentini & Son Pty Ltd have been operational
on the island since June 2002.
Approximately 25 Piacentini employees live and work on the
island.
Road Transport Division
Piacentini & Son Pty Ltd developed the Road Transport
Division in 2002 after Main Roads introduced an accreditation
system that required strict recording of maintenance and vehicle
history.
The heavy haulage fleet is used to cart: gravel, mineral,
machines, plants and other goods to and from Piacentini jobs.
